Our chapter is helping to organize a Girls in Aviation Day at the Owls Head Transportation Museum on March 14th. I would highly recommend blocking out your calendars, because there will be lots of activities!

If you are interested in helping out with the organizing, or volunteering during the event, please reach out to Casey, Lori or Julia.

The tentative information is as follows:

• The event will be for 3rd-5th graders

• Groups will rotate through stations focused on different aspects of flight/aviation

• Each participant will get a take-home goody bag, provided by Katahdin Wings members. There will be 50 goody bags, so if you are able to provide a small aviation themed item to place in the bags, it would be much appreciated!

We are donating to AIO, a local charity servicing Knox County who helps provide food, heating, and other assistance to its residents.
