This event is open to all pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and past guests. If you aren’t sure if that’s you and you want an invitation, please send us a private message and I am sure you will be invited.

Welcome to all pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and past guests!

  • Breakfast: coffee and donuts. Possibly pancake breakfast by EAA 736.

  • Lunch and Dinner available from Hungry Mama Food Truck!

  • Northeast STOL Competition from 1pm to about 430pm

  • Hayride: We have a new old Case tractor to pull us this year! If we don’t have hay (supply chain issues) we will return with the Classic picnic table ride of 2022.

  • Airplanes: We have 6 based here that will be here and hopefully more will fly in.

  • Raffle: We have an online raffle Purchase tickets online using credit card, or send us a check. Details will be posted as we get closer.

  • Antique Car Rides: The Ford Model T is up and running! Step back in time to 1925.

  • Overnight camping is welcome all weekend long and drive-ins are welcome

  • Live Music from the Aviation Outlaws. STOL after party will be happening at the Bent Propeller Club around 5pm. Wrist bands will be sold to help with costs of the event.

Field Brief

The Maine Center for Classic Aviation is a unique organization with the goal of promoting aviation in Maine. Based in Pittsfield, Maine, our airstrip is a 2,500' grass strip dedicated as Thompson Memorial Field (ME62). At the airfield you will find several hangars filled with dreams! From aircraft in the middle of the build process to aviation history and memorabilia, MCCA is always working towards promoting aviation education, commemorating aviation history, and inspiring current and future aviators.
